May 2026
Speed & Stability — May 8–9 v6.16
A site-wide performance pass and stability fixes:
- Inline tag editing — add, remove, and create tags directly from entity cards and the codex without opening the full editor
- Dramatically faster navigation across the dashboard, codex, campaigns, and player portal — a full pass eliminated sequential database round-trips that caused multi-second stalls on high-traffic pages
- Connection Gravity improvements: smarter weighting for recently visited NPCs and tightly connected relationship networks surfaces more relevant suggestions during sessions
- Fixed: dashboard name fields and tables no longer stall on pages loaded without an active session
- Fixed: Rune Keeper seed questions now display correctly after an API shape change

Random Tables & Name Generator v6.15
Random Tables are now fully interactive in the world editor:
- Build rollable tables for loot, encounters, rumors, and names — all in one place
- Roll results appear inline without leaving the editor
- The Name Generator uses your world's cultural context to suggest NPC and place names on demand from any entity name field
PlanRail Inline Mode & RevealFeed v6.15
Session planning and the GM Screen got two significant additions:
- PlanRail inline mode — expand and edit individual session plan beats without leaving the canvas; toggle between compact rail view and full-edit mode per beat
- RevealFeed — a live ticker on the GM Screen shows entities revealed to players and spotlight moments as they happen during the session
World Stats & Improved Portal v6.14
- World stats panel — the world dashboard surfaces creation pace, entity density, and total connection count at a glance
- Portal browse & character pages redesigned for faster navigation — party members reach character summaries in fewer taps
Scene Flow Canvas Polish v6.13
A round of polish on the Session Canvas and Lore Assistant:
- Scene Flow minimap nodes are now individually draggable for real-time layout adjustments
- Story thread names appear as small labels on their colour-coded edges
- Setting a scene snaps to 80% zoom and centres the staged cards — no more unexpected auto-fit jumps
- The Lore Assistant now knows which scene is active: quick prompts and AI queries reference the current scene title and entities
- Scene rail badges use a tighter typeface for a cleaner look when many scenes are in the plan
Session Planning Workspace v6.12
Session prep received a major update:
- Session planning workspace — a dedicated PlanRail with thread drag-and-drop and full plan management for running sessions
- Campaign scenes & sessions dashboards — track everything from a single top-down view
- Media library — upload, browse, and delete world and campaign media in one place
- Campaign edit panel — make inline edits without leaving the campaign screen
- NPC role taxonomy — richer role tagging and campaign relationship hooks for NPCs
- Scene Canvas location drill-down — pick locations down the full hierarchy while prepping
- World health & depth badges — completeness indicators on the world card
- Unified exports — PDF and Markdown export now covers campaigns and stat blocks, matching the world exporter
Character Sheets & Onboarding v6.11
- Character sheets for Daggerheart, D&D 5e, and Call of Cthulhu — players create and manage characters directly in the portal
- Interactive onboarding tours — new users get a guided walkthrough of the dashboard with step-by-step highlights for each key action

- Map maker integration — embed Inkarnate maps or upload Czepku maps directly
- Session Mode now has a Maps tab so you can reference maps without leaving the canvas
- Admin product roadmap with milestones, progress tracking, and planning tools

D&D 5e System-Aware Encounter Builder v6.1
The Encounter Builder now has full D&D 5e and One D&D support, separate from Daggerheart mode:
- Creature type badges — 14 types (Aberration through Undead), each color-coded. Click a badge on any adversary card to change the type in place.
- CR selector and AC field replace the Daggerheart tier and stress fields on adversary cards.
- Difficulty Bar — XP threshold-based difficulty calculation (Easy / Medium / Hard / Deadly) per DMG 2014. Shows adjusted XP with creature-count multiplier, tick marks at each breakpoint.
- Party Level control — set party level (1–20) alongside party size. Both drive the threshold calculation.
- Encounter templates — five presets (Ambush, Boss Fight, Escort Defense, Dungeon Delve, Chase Sequence) pre-fill objectives and suggest creature types.
- Party level is saved to the encounter and persists across sessions.
Help Center Launch v6.0
A comprehensive help center built directly into the app. Every feature now has a dedicated article with guides, tips, and reference material.
- 50 help articles covering worldbuilding, session prep, player tools, and reference
- Full-text search across all docs with Cmd + K
- Contextual help links throughout the app that open the relevant article
- Glossary with hover definitions for TTRPG and Skryrún-specific terms
Realtime Activity Feed v6.0
A live activity feed on the world dashboard shows recent changes across your world — entity edits, new connections, player reveals, and session notes — so co-GMs and players with portal access stay in sync without refreshing.
Interactive World Maps v6.0
Upload a map image and place interactive tokens on it. Tokens link to entities — click a city token to jump to that location's article.
- Drag-and-drop token placement
- Token types: location, NPC, item, event
- Pan, zoom-to-cursor, and pinch-to-zoom support
- Player-visible maps in the Portal
Connection Gravity Improvements
Connection Gravity now surfaces more relevant suggestions during play, with smarter handling of recently active NPCs, connected relationship networks, and characters the party has spent time with.
February 2026
Encounter Builder v6.0
Build combat encounters with pre-set NPC stat blocks, initiative tracking, and condition management.
- Drag NPCs from your world directly into an encounter
- System-aware stat blocks (Daggerheart, D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e)
- Quick initiative roll with automatic ordering
- Session Mode integration — encounters appear in the session companion
Access Link Manager v6.0
Manage session guest and public portal links from one panel. Set per-link expiry dates, max-use caps, and revoke links instantly without affecting others. Session Guest links auto-expire when you end the session.
Session Re-entry and Continuity v6.0
Return to an in-progress session without losing state. Pinned entities, active reveals, and the Fear counter persist if you accidentally close the tab or switch devices mid-session.
Post-Session Debrief
After each session, capture what happened:
- Record key events and player decisions
- Update NPC statuses and relationships in bulk
- Track character arc developments
- Generate session summary for players
Investigation Board (Player Tool)
Players can now organize clues, theories, and connections on a visual board:
- Drag-and-drop cards for clues, NPCs, locations
- Draw connections between cards
- Share board with the GM
- Export as image

Campaign Creation Wizard v6.0
A guided setup flow for new campaigns. Choose a world, set session cadence, invite players, and pick a game system in one pass — the wizard creates the campaign entity and sends invite links automatically.
First Steps Onboarding Panel v6.0
New worlds now show a dismissable First Steps checklist: add an entity, connect two entities, invite a player, set up an encounter. Each item links to the relevant feature. The panel disappears once all items are checked — or can be dismissed early from World Settings.
Pin Drag-to-Reorder v6.0
Pinned entities in Session Mode can now be reordered by dragging. The order is saved per-session so your layout persists across tab refreshes.
Party Member Character Profiles
Players can now see each other's public character profiles through the companion link — name, portrait, and bio visible to all party members. GMs control what's shown via the character's visibility settings.
Backstory Builder
A guided workflow for players to write their character's background:
- Step-by-step prompts based on your game system
- Link backstory elements to existing world entities
- GM review and approval workflow
- Auto-create stub entities for new backstory NPCs and locations
Import from Kanka and LegendKeeper
Two new importers join WorldAnvil and Markdown:

- Custom month names, lengths, and leap rules
- Presets for Harptos (Forgotten Realms), Golarion, and Gregorian
