A full walkthrough of everything that shipped in Skryrún v6: the adventure importer, advanced analytics, the expanded help center, and the GM activation improvements.
Skryrún v6 is the biggest release since we launched. Here's what shipped.
GMs can now import adventure content directly into their worlds from structured markdown. The importer understands adventure structure — areas, read-aloud text, NPC hierarchies — and maps it to Skryrún's entity model.
What this means in practice:
Two new TipTap block types ship with this: Read-Aloud blocks (the boxed text you read to players verbatim) and Development blocks (GM-only context notes). These are rendered differently in the editor and completely hidden from player-facing views.
The adventure chapter navigation panel tracks which acts and scenes you've run across sessions, so you don't lose your place in a multi-session module.
We tracked every point where new GMs dropped off in their first session. Then we fixed them.
Empty state onboarding — new worlds now launch with a setup wizard and a First Steps panel that surfaces the right action at the right moment.
Campaign creation — the campaign creation flow was hidden behind a menu that most new GMs never found. It now surfaces with a CTA the moment a world is created.
Autosave and loss prevention — localStorage draft recovery means you can navigate away mid-article and come back to exactly where you left. A navigation guard prompts before you'd lose unsaved work.
Quick capture — Cmd+K (or the mobile floating button) opens a global command palette for capturing ideas without interrupting your current flow.
Player portal invite — sharing portal access is now one tap. QR code overlay for at-the-table sharing without fumbling through settings.
The admin dashboard now includes a full analytics suite covering time-to-value metrics, feature engagement depth, and acquisition source tracking.
On the financial side: revenue forecasting, churn intervention queue, and failed payment recovery workflow are all live. These surfaces exist to catch problems before they become churned users.
Slow query monitoring and error-rate-by-route dashboards are now live in admin. If something breaks quietly, we'll see it in 24 hours.
The help center grew from 37 to 50 articles. Every article now has a Troubleshooting section (4 entries each) and cross-links to related topics.
The glossary is now live at /help/reference/glossary — 20 defined terms covering the core vocabulary of the platform. This was a 404 for longer than we'd like to admit.
Game system pages (Pathfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, system-agnostic) now have encounter setup workflow sections matching the D&D 5e and Daggerheart pages.
We're working on creator analytics and the mobile session mode for tablet-optimized at-the-table play. Updates will land in the next cycle.
